Where Do We Get Our Animals?

Critter Tales obtains its animals through a variety of sources.  Primarily, we selectively inherit animals that are unwanted or that have been injured, rehabilitated, and that have been deemed as non-releaseable.  We also acquire animals from licensed breeders specifically for wildlife education.

How Do We Take Care of Them?

All of the animals under Critter Tales care are provided with excellent nutrition, adequate space and living accomodations, and receive regular check-ups from licensed veterinarians.  Critter Tales is concerned first and foremost with the health and well-being of each and every animal that it houses.  Our animals are not treated as pets but as natural educators about the world in which we all live.
